This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you, as the owner of the QuickBooks Online company file, and the internal application (“Application”) developed for your own business use.
- Purpose
The Application is an internal tool used only by you (and, if applicable, your trusted accountant) to read accounting data from QuickBooks Online and generate internal reports, summaries, and insights. It is not offered to the public and is not a commercial software product. - License
You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Application solely for your own business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Application to third parties. - Use of QuickBooks Data
The Application connects to your QuickBooks Online company file via the official Intuit API. It currently reads accounting data (such as reports, invoices, bills, and related financial information) and does not create, edit, or delete data in QuickBooks Online. - Data Ownership
You remain the sole owner of all accounting and business data stored in QuickBooks Online. The Application does not claim any ownership or rights over your data. - No Warranty
The Application is provided “as is” for internal use without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of performance, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing any reports or insights before making business decisions. - Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application’s developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Application. - Security
Access tokens and credentials used to connect to QuickBooks Online are stored securely (for example, in environment variables or a secure configuration file) and are not shared with unauthorized third parties. - Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time. You may also revoke the Application’s access to your QuickBooks Online company from within your Intuit account settings. - Changes to this Agreement
This Agreement may be updated from time to time. If it is updated, the revised version will be posted on this same page.
By using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this End-User License Agreement.
